Modulation spaces was introduced by Feichtinger in 1983 to give a simultaneous description of temporal and frequency behavior for a function or distribution. In this talk, I will review some basic properties of frequency decomspoition function spaces, including modulation and alpha-modulation spaces, Wiener amalgam spaces, and some classical function spaces.
