Irrationality exponents describe the approximation speed of irrationals by rational numbers. In this talk, we should explain how to compute the Hankel determinants of some automatic transcendant numbers, and then discuss the relationship between the Hankel determinants and the irrationality exponents of these automatic transcendant numbers.
