The theory of vector-valued modular forms can be viewed as a nature generalization of classical modular forms. Eisenstein series are basic modular forms whose Fourier coefficients involve ample important arithmetical information. However Eisenstein series of small weights often fail to be holomorphic modular forms. In this talk we determine when Eisenstein series of vector-valued modular forms of small weight are holomorphic.
